May 18, 2015, Frisco, Texas -- It was a busy weekend for East Texas Wildcatters SC.  Four teams made the trip to Frisco to play in the 2015 Shawnee Soccer Tournament, and three of the four ended up making it to the semifinal game with one team reaching the Championship Game.

The ETW SC 07 Boys Coached By Juan Alba and Kenneth Shore began the weekend with a convincing 6-0 victory over Warriors Fc.  Their next two games were very close one ended as draw and the other in a narrow 1-0 win.  They tied FC Dallas 0-0 and beat the Tirgers FC 1-0.  The semifinal for the bracket featured a late afternoon season rematch with FC Dallas Ekeme, and the ETW U8 boys fell 0-3.  It was a great showing for the 07 boys.


The ETW SC 06 Girls coached by John Finney and Javier Alba began the weekend with a heart breaking loss to Triumph FC 3-0.  Their next two games were very close with win over STING NORTH 06 (TXN) 2-1 and losing the other in a narrow 1-0 loss to SOUTH LAKES COSMOS ACADEMY 06 GIRLS BLUE (OK) . The semifinal for the bracket featured a late afternoon bracket rematch with SOUTH LAKES COSMOS ACADEMY 06 GIRLS BLUE (OK), and the ETW U9 girls manage to win in dramatic fashion in a PK SHOOTOUT sending them to yet another rematch against Triumph FC for the championship the game was back and forth but   Triumph FC was able to win. ETW 06 girls made our club extremely proud GREAT JOB KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.


The ETW SC  05 Girls Coached By Juan Alba and Edwin Reaudales were playing in their first tournament of the season and ran into a tough opponent in their first match.  FC Warriors handed the girls a 0-2 loss to initiate them to the Frisco tournament.  In their second match the 05 Girls had their chances to pull out a victory but ultimately couldn’t capitalize and Tied to Frisco Storm 0-0.  Sunday featured another close match as the Wildcatter 05 Girls fell to Athletic Dallas 1-3. The 05 Girls have improved in every game they have played and will do great things as long as they continue to work hard.


The ETW SC 05 Boys Coached by Sammy Edu and Bernardo Zuiniga were also playing in their first tournament of the season and were able to make a run all the way to the Semifinal game.  In their first game the boys won 4 to 1against FC Dallas Kang.  Their second match was against FC Rush and the match was a little closer but the boys won 3-1. Saturday night under the lights U10 Boys faced Solar Red and were able to get a 1-1 result which sent them to the Semifinal game.  In Semifinal game the boys fell to the  Andromeda FC 2-0. The U10 boys did an excellent job.
